Remembering Alex Dunn
On a sad note, many of you may know Dr. Alexander Dunn, long-time head of guitar at the University of Victoria, president and artistic director of the Victoria Guitar Society and a wonderful performer and teacher. The Victoria Guitar Society let us know that Alex passed away suddenly last week. This news is a great shock to the classical guitar world and leaves a chasm in the Victoria and Canadian guitar scene. We've lost a friend and an artist.
